LOAN PERIOD:

(2) is the magic number!

• Students may borrow 2 books for a 2 week period.
• Students may renew a book for an additional 2 weeks as long as there isn't a HOLD for that book.

Grade 5:

• finding books / resources using Destiny Discover

• how to put books on hold

• learning / understanding the Dewey Decimal System

• ways to evaluate books / resources / websites

​Grade 6:

• finding books / resources using Destiny Discover

• how to put books on hold

• ways to evaluate books / resources / websites

• gaining an appreciation for different genres of books through special events such as book tastings and speed dating with a book
